寄养家庭:急救与心肺复苏标准
First Aid & CPR Alabama
Becoming a foster parent in Alabama means providing a safe, temporary home to a child in state care. Among the qualifications set by the Department of Human Resources: each caregiver must hold a current CPR and first-aid certificate before a child is placed.
急救要求
Under the Alabama Minimum Standards for Foster Family Homes (Ala. Admin. Code r. 660-5-29-.02), each caregiver must hold a current infant-child CPR certificate and a current first-aid certificate from a recognized organization; where infants and young children are cared for, pediatric and infant training is required. CPR completed entirely online is not accepted for foster-parent approval.
The requirement is administered by the Alabama Department of Human Resources (DHR), Office of Residential Licensing. Certification must be kept current and available for inspection, and it is one requirement in addition to the family assessment, home study and the ongoing annual in-service training expected of approved foster parents.
严重过敏与过敏性休克
A recognized first-aid certificate covers recognizing and responding to severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis), including the use of an epinephrine auto-injector.
